Event Description: The bus tour will showcase conservation in Shiawassee County. Topics will include controlling invasive Phragmites, drainage water management and structures, soil health, and conservation planning. The tour will also feature a soil pit demonstration. Attendees will view a cross section of the soil pit to learn about soil structure and how activities on the surface affect what is going on underground. This event is free, and includes lunch.
