Keepers of the Shiawassee is hosting a Water Monitoring Class presented by Jaime Welch from the Flint River Watershed Collation on Sunday, Sept 17th at 11 am in downtown Linden. All are welcome including kids. We will be scooping up leaf litter and overturning rocks to see what critters are dwelling in the Shiawassee. This will give us an idea how healthy our waters are. 

Meet us by the river behind Down the Hatch Pub. Plan on being in the water. Solid soled shoes or waders and quick drying clothes are advised. All other needed equipment and instruction will be provided by Jamie.
